The GP350 is not known to dump its programming or have programming issue like its replacement CP series does. What symptom are you having? They do have oscillator that can go bad that will cause the radio to go dead.

I bought a Motorola HT1250 Radio off Ebay from japan and cant program it

You will likely need the same version or newer of the software used to originally program the radio. You might check with your local Motorola dealer to see if they have the most recent Radio Service Software (RSS) and give it a try. Or a nationwide repair facility for after-warranty radio repair might have some idea how to get it to program properly.

The software is proprietary to Motorola and only available by subscription to Motorola Solutions dealers and certain other user types.

Best regards.

What software is required to program a motorola cp125

Motorola programming software is proprietary to them, radio dealers must pay for a subscription to each software. You would need a programming cable, radio interface box (RIB), and RVN4196 software subscription. Your radio should be programmable at your local dealer for a reasonable fee.

I just bought a motorola 800mhz radio and need to get it programed

You didn't specify a model, but most Motorola radios use proprietary cables and software for programming. I suggest that you contact an authorized Motorola distributor in your area.

How do i program my motorola mts 2000 flashport scanner

Your Motorola MTS2000 is not a scanner but a high-end two-way radio. It requires a computer, special interface box (called a RIB, for Radio Interface Box), the proper cable from the radio to the RIB, and the programming software called RSS (Radio Service Software.)

This is much more difficult than a scanner to program and if not done properly can cause the radio to automatically transmit on frequencies that you are not authorized to use.

Try calling your local Motorola dealer and ask them if they will program it for you for receiving only. They will either flatly refuse or they will be happy to charge you a service fee. Some places are more willing than others.

Sound cuts out

Hi,

It would seem that your volume control is spotty. A short term repair would be to spray the inside with electronic contact cleaner while rotating the volume control. Of course the best solution is to replace the component.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

PROGRAMMING

here is a link to the manual for your radio (english http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/bearcatting.html#motoman They do not give out the information of how to program it, only authorised technicians are permitted to do so. Here is the link to motorola customer support in Puerto Rico https://www.motorola.com/pr/feedback.jsp They should be able to tell you where you can get your radio programmed, and what programming is permitted in PR. Hope this helps :)
