This monitor is faulty, the costs of LCD monitors are low and the cost of repairing your monitor may not be worth the trouble.

I want to make my monitor speakers play sound

Make sure that you have the cable plugged into the monitor and going to the computer if there is one. Some older model monitors operated that way.

Click Start/Control Panel and check your Audio/Sound properties to make sure the drivers are ok. Look for either sound or audio or device manager under the control panel.

Does the sound work for external speakers? Does the sound work for a headphone? Did the computer and monitor come together when you purchased it?

How do you fix a hp1907 when the vol says it works but it doesnt

here are the options:

1.Make sure you have the audio cable connected from the monitor to the computer( look for a green connection on your desktop or output audio or a sign with headphones and connect the audio to there.

2. Install the monitor software or reinstall

3. At the bottom right hand corner right click on the volume icon and click volume option. if can't find it there go to control panel then> click on hardware and sound then> click sound then> click on the tap PLAYBACK.
You should have some options. Click on your monitor name and set as default.

Let me know any of this option work.

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling

My computer has no audio

I have this monitor.
You need to click on the little audio (speaker ) button then use the + - to advance the volume to its proper setting.
You also need to have the audio jack connected to the correct line out on your sound card.
if you have the audio setting on your computer set to mute, or turned right down, you will not hear sound through the monitor speakers.
double click on the icon in your task bar that controls your sound. make sure it is turned up, then try to the settings on the monitor.

No sound

Is there a rca/headphone jack for the monitor? Make sure that the jack is plugged into the computer's audio out rca jack. A driver should not be needed for the audio on the monitor. If the jack is plugged in make sure that the audio is not muted on the computer. Right click on the speaker icon in the right bottom of the screen on the windows tray nand open the sound mixer. Make sure all the sounds are on. Then check the monitor settings and make sure the sound is on and not muted thru the monitor buttons. If the cable is good and all these things are ok then the internal sound amp in the monitor might be bad.

Iiyama Pro 452 clicking sound during start-up

Your CRT Monitor will fail soon. The clicking sound is coming from your CRT's power circuit.

Make plans now to replace it. This problem is known to be a fire hazard in some cases. So, better safe than sorry.

Sorry for the bad news.

Hope this was helpful.
