I have a 27 in lcd from digital lifestyle p/n fa2b-26zd2 with the same problem the tv wont power on after we loss power in our house for 4days. what could be the problem any suggestions .. thanks

Do you see any indicator lights on the front at all? If not, it may have a dead power supply. It can be as simple as blown main AC fuse in the power supply module ( it should be close to where the power cord is plugged in). When the power comes back on, it will usually have high voltage spike/surge due to all big heavy loads that **** down the voltage and rise back up quickly, This one reason I unplug all my electronics when the house lost power. You probably notice that the lights in the house get dim and then get real bright when the power comes back on and settle back to normal a few seconds later.

Only if the power supply has been restored back with the replacement of the capacitor and fuse can we proceed forward. If not you will need to check the SMPS unit to replace damaged components to restore the supply.
If supply seems correct, then check the +5 to the processor unit. In event of high voltage it is possible that the mother board is affected.

Magnet does not affect the LCD panel like the CRT monitor because LCD dose not use electron beams for display function.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for:
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Remove the mother board...similar to your home pc,
Locate the capacitors that had gone bad
take it to a television repair shop and had them replace those Capacitors (with a slight voltage increase).
IT will Start Working fine.

It happened because of Voltage fluctuation so beeter connect a Voltage Controlling device to your Polaroid LCD.

The monitor vibrates every now and then

Dear Sir this happens due to voltage fluctuations. Check the voltage of your outlet or else check with ups. If it continues even after replacing the UPS. You need to consult a technician.

F-17 neovo monitor stopped working. power light is flashing yellow

The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the Monitor goes on protection there are only two possible causes.

1 The internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the protection circuit.

2 The protection circuit detected a wrong voltage or a broken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in , starting the flashing light.

If you are in situation one, then the monitor will reset just unplugging power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.

If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.

Common faults that can occurr suddenly are a blown capacitor on power board, the inverter board powering up backlight lamp has blown, or a fault on main lcd controller board.
check also the video cable, if the cable is shorting, or the connector is bad, you can get same flashing state because of the video cable.

Check connectors, try moving the video cable, and if the cable is not built in, then also try a replacement cable.
