Question about Maytag Washing Machines

Need help replacing bearings on a commercial Maytag MAF35MC4TS, I can't figure it how to take the drum out, we use a jaw puller for the band wheel that one is out but the next step is the one where I don't know how to proceed, please help.

If you have a vice, soft jaws , are placed on an outside bearing racing fit to be held. A Brass hammer or drift pin may be used to strike the armature without damage to move the bearing for clearance. Another person may be needed to catch the shaft from falling. use a 3 jaw internal bearing puller with a slide hammer, or a long drift and tap with a hammer around the edges.

How can i remove a damaged clutch pilot bearing?


They make a special tool for removing the pilot bearing, any NAPA auto parts store should have one. See picture below.

Instructions on replace wheel bearing on 2005 f150 2wd front wheel


Johny brown is wrong.... the 2005 ford f150 2wd requires a rotor/bearing assembly it is really really easy to change...... jack it up remove wheel, 18 mm wrench to remove caliper mount... then remove spindle cotterpin and nylon nut (26mm? ) with any luck the rotor/bearing /hub will pull right off ...if not a make shift lever/puller should do the trick.... I actually had a bearing frozen on the spindle that i used heat and a small 3 jaw puller to get the bearing free.... if everything goes smoothly you should be done in less then 30 min

I need front whell bearings for toyota corona AT170. Could you please tell me how to replace the bearings.


When you remove the bolts that hold the struts to the wheel assembly, turn the nuts lose and then tap out the bolts. I was able to grab using the pozi lock pullers (OEM number 27107) that keeps the jaws pushed against the ridge of the race while in the extraction process. I had to jury rig something for the hole in the hub. I used a small nut and the flat side of a horseshoe to bridge the hole (Anything similar would probably work). Note that anytime using a puller that you have to tighten the puller as tight as you can with your fingers then using a hammer rap sharply the shaft of the puller one time to help dislodge the race. Repeat this process until you can turn the handle without the rapping. As the race pulls off the hub, I used a large washer and a nut to take up the space between the side of the horseshoe and the hub to get the race fully off. no, but the drums are often stuck on a ridge ffrom where the brakes wear into the drum. Go to your ford dealer and have him check to see if your car is included in 00S31 recall to replace wheel bearings. Free.

How do you change the front wheel bearings on a 1994 Kia Sephia?


its a pressed in bearing,i would recommend u to have it done by mec.but here goes,take wheel off,undo cv axle center bolt,undo brakes,calyper,disc rotor,undo tie rod,lower control arm ball joint,undo strut from steer.knuckle,slide knuckle off cv shaft.at this point u can take steer.knuckle to machine shop to seperate and install hub and new bearing or u can have fun taping out hub and bearing and theres a good chance that bearing will seperate when taping out hub,youll need a puller to take bear.part off hub,then taping them back in without damaging bearing.u will need ball joint seperator,socket for cv bolt,2 jaw puller.

Wheel bearing needs replaced


U can't replace just the bearing, u must replace the whole wheel hub assemby, work for Ford shop, know this for sure.

Rear Wheel Bearing Repair; 2005 pontiac aztek


Remove the brake caliper
Remove the disc, (rotor)
Remove the 34mm nut on the axel shaft
Remove the three (3) bolts from the back side
You will need a wheel puller (three jaw will work well)
Place the puller over the hub and tighten, this will push the shaft out of the hub. Now you have to pull the hub assy. out of the mounting bracket. I found hitting each side,of the hub with a lead hammer to work well. Don't forget to disconnect the ABS senser on the back side of the hub assy.
Do not over tighten the 34mm axel nut when you install the new assy. If you use an impact whrench on it you will damage the bearing.
