SOURCE: air hog hawk eye keeps
Hello Steve, remote controlled toys such as yours usually suffer from radio interference in environments with heavy duty radio equipments or in intense weather conditions. When the environment suffers from either of the two above mentioned factors usually when you are using your equipment there is a likelihood that the unit will cut out transmission mid way.
The controller sensors could be affected when the weather becomes too hot or too cold and therefore cut out transmission or receiving on the air hog hawk eye. Mostly it is not a problem just environmental factors. Try using it in a more friendly environment and get back to me.
Hope this solution has been helpful?
Merry Xmas to you

SOURCE: fully charged but wont fly
There seems to be a lot of people having the same problems with this product with no idea of how to fix it so my advice would be to go to:
There the company that makes the product offers troubleshooting and if it fails they offer a phone number so that you can send it away to be repaired. Either try that or take it back to the shop where you got it from and get you money back.
Hope this helps

Simple, remember its controlled by infrared red signels from your tx to the rx most likely you have floresant lites? or live near some source of ir signals... plus dont forget that the big ball of fire we see in the sky emittes alll times of ir and other signals. maybe you have large windows facing the sun? either way test it like this, go in to a dark room, try to test the heli by carefully doing a control flight in the dark / dimmly lite room..

SOURCE: my green air hog helicopter
There is a problem on the motor gear, check the underside where you could see a big gear that should spin when you try to lift the helicopter. Check both big gears if they rotate/spins.
Usually the problem is the small gear on the motor shaft that is not aligned to that big gear. Check on it and adjust the small gear of the motor.
Hope that copter flies high.
Thanks for asking FixYa!
