I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, I am trying to find the Memroy wire on the Montero, that goes to the radio.Every time i turn the vehicle on it doesnt keeop the memory. Can you help me figure o

They Yellow wire on the CD Receiver is your memory wire.

Simply ensure this Yellow wire is connected to your Mitsubishi +12v constant power (Red, with black stripe) loom wire.

If this wire is already connected properly, then something is causing a momentary short, each time you turn the key on.

It's also possible you may have inadvertantly connected the yellow wire, to your Blue ignition wire by mistake.

Do the jvs have a memory wire. I tryin to put this in a 2001 nissan altima. I need to know if the car have a memory wire for this redio.

You need to hook up the yellow wire from JVC to the yellow/green wire in car(12+ constant memory) and the red wire from JVC to purple from car(switched 12+ volt accessory)

Hope this gets you tuned in!

I dont know which wire in the memory to connect it to my after ma

The memory wire is usually the yellow wire in the harness - it goes to a constant 12v (battery) source. That's how the cd player remembers all of your presets. The red wire (the other power wire) is connected to a switched 12v source, so it only sees power when the key is on. That is why the cd player shuts off when you turn the key off.

Need to know wirring diagrams

the red is your memory alwayse is a live wire. Yellow tells cd player to turn on and off, Black is your ground. the other ones are your speaker wires go to your doors. Also if you have a power antenna it is the blue wire with the white stripe. Hope this helps

Don't worry about the brown wires. They are for telephone mute.

The yellow is Memory (constant 12 volt, so battery is fine), but the red should go to a 12 volt source that turns on and off with the key.
