I cannot get the informtion I am searching for to fit onto the screen, I have to scroll left/right to see the full screen...how can I change the resoloution to make info "fit" onto screen???

There should be a setting on your TV that is called Picture Flip. See if you can access it with your Sharp remote (not a Universal remote)
Press MENU
Scroll left or right to SETUP
Scroll up or down to PICTURE FLIP
Scroll up or down to STANDARD
Press ENTER
Press MENU
That should turn your picture normal. Let us know if it worked.
Is this in a Web browser? What browser software are you using?
Look for a command called Zoom or Text Zoom and change it back to 100%
Or hold down Control button (command on a Mac) and scroll up and down with the mouse wheel to change the Zoom level

Fortunately, you can easily change your web browser's text size on Gmail to ensure that all of the components fit.
Alternatively, you can use a special GMail Labs feature to change the default text size for all of the emails that you compose.
Navigate to your GMail inbox in your web browser.
Hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and press the "-" key.
Your web browser will shrink all of the text on the current web page.
You can repeat this step to shrink the text even more.

Navigate to your GMail inbox and click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Select "Labs" from the drop-down menu.
Scroll down to "Default Text Styling" and click "Enable."
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes."
Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select "Mail Settings." Click the "TT" icon in the "Default Text Style" section. Select "Small."
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes." Your new email messages will automatically use GMail's small text size.
To do a full system 'recovery' search under 'recovery' in the help screens and click on the recovery console in windows, if you can get that far.
'Restore' goes back to a particular time in the past where the system was working properly, but doesn't necessarily take it back to factory settings. You can search under that option as well if you can get into windows.
Try right clicking the desktop then Select "Properties" / Display sould appear, go to setting tab. you may want to write down screen resolution setting as it is now. change as you see fit "more or less" hit ok. It should say your screen has been adjusted, do you wish to save these settings "yes or no" if you do nothing it will go back after 10 seconds. play with it until you get desired look..
Press the F11 button to get full screen.
To return back to normal screen, press the F11 button again.
You can also hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and Scroll down the scrolling button on the mouse.
To revert to normal , again hold the CTRL button on the keyboard and scroll upwards.
Start up the media player, right click on the taskbar, scroll up to toolbars, uncheck windows media player. It will pop up to full screen. Now when you minimize it, it will be clickable like a minimized browser window.
