Question about Polaroid FLM-4201 42 in. LCD Television
I wrote an in depth guide (with pictures) about how to fix this issue - it's really easy! It only cost me £1 (about $2) to fix.

The information that superboy2021 supplied works. I found this site looking for a schematic for my Polaroid TV to see where the capacitors for the speakers were on the board. I downloaded this file and it took me about 30 minutes to solder the two new capacitors on.

Sounds like bad capacitors again to me...http://www.fixya.com/support/r741402-polaroid_flm_373b_lcd_tv_black_screen Open it up and check for the bulging capacitors per the above link.
