Tevion 8gb media player,model 43183 bought from Aldi;as a disabled customer i was delighted at this product and had hoped for many hours of pleasure,but find that the unit does not play for more then a few hours between charges,even though it is recharges for the rcommended minimum 5 hours each time.
Is there a solution or do have a faulty device???I am bitterly disappointed,as this was only purchased this August and i have the original packaging but not reciept-any advice would be welcomed please

Make sure darktime is set low in the setup program. It should be set to say 6 or 9 seconds. The LED display system will use considerable power compared to just the audio system.

Be aware most MP3 players use the internal MP3 tag as a sort order. Not an external name.
Try downloading the free program Mp3tag.
Put all tracks in one folder on your computer and select the folder in Mp3tag,
In Mp3tag, you then can change the name and give in a play order.
Give all tracks as the same album name and perhaps your problem is solved. Mp3tag the universal Tag Editor ID3v2 MP4 OGG FLAC
Did you actually save the playlist in the Media Player? There is an icon for a disk above the navigation pane where you dragged your songs to make your playlist - click this and you are asked to name the selection.
I had the same problem and rang aldi (see website for your nearest head office) they gave me a 1800 # and they could sell me an adaptor but it was going to cost $40 my player was 4 years old. I live in Qld and the number I rang was 1800 111 727 hope this helps
If you bought this from Aldi, it came with a 3 year guarantee from date of purchase. You could try ringing them on 01422 263270.
You will need receipt, serial number, model number.
