Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My PS3 have error code 8002f334

I've seen this error code going around for the older PS3's. From what I can gather, it's a HDD issue that can't be cured easily. Here are the steps to take that I found, that seem to work for all PS3 systems.

  • take out the hard drive
  • connect hard drive to pc (running windows 7 64bit, but any windows os should work without other software)
  • open up disk management - in win7 it asked me to make a master boot record, so I did.
  • format in NTSF - that's right, NTSF - don't use quick format
  • shut down pc, take out hd, take usb drive too
  • put hd back in ps3, put usb stick in ps3
  • boot ps3
  • a screen will pop-up saying the hard disk have to be formatted
  • hold start + Select for 5 sec.
  • After formatting the system will restart and the update will start installing
  • configure your ps3 setup - done
  • Remember to get the latest firmware from SONY onto the USB drive.

I have an HP DV6-3124nr less than a yr old IE shut down twice. Restarted the machine and when clicking start it was blank other than my programs and my desktop was completely black with all icons and...

Your PC has been infected and so it is need to fully format the drives and reinstall the OS- operating software.
Also when installating please check the memory card if there is any error indication. If so it must be replaced,
Make sure that you install a good antivirus into your PC after the OS is installed and then install the drivers of the PC.
Get help if you are not sure to do this set up.

I have Dell inspiron 1525 window vista recovery reports 5 error are detected in hard drive and memory errors detected on my laptop 1. hard drive doesnt respond to system commands-critical error 2.boot...

your HDD may be corrupted, re-installing windows vista is one option. Your best bet is if you have/ can obtain a copy of windows vista run setup and try the repair wizard in the windows vista setup, the wizard automatically finds errors and missing files and replaces them therefore solving any errors in your HDD. you can also try to use the recovery wizard from your recovery disc. best of luck

My computer came up with a blue screen that said system error said something about a physical memory dump and that it is shutting down the computer to keep me from losing my files, that was all I got from...

Not necessarily. This usually means an error somewhere in the critical operating system files. whether this is software problem or hardware remains to be seen.
Assuming that you will, sadly; not be able to access the operating system again, you can still access the files and get a back up using a hard drive adapter: http://www.coolmaxusa.com./productDetails.asp?item=CD-350-COMBO&details=overview&subcategory=converter&category=converter
This does involve having another pc to load the files onto. Once the data is backed up a format will indicate if its a hardware issue but hopefully the format will manage any bad sectors. Once the format is complete the hard drive can be placed back in the laptop and an OS can be reloaded.
This all is if you wish to backup, you can just load in an OS cd/recovery disk and let it format the drive and just Install rewriting over any data and formatting around any potential bad sectors on the drive.

My External Hard Drive is asking me to format. Why is it and i currently have information on my external hard drive.

I guess you are using it thru USB...
This is a general issue with all external devices connected thru USB, many times the USB reacts to an external device as though they dont exist.

The best solution is to shutdown the PC remove the device from the external USB port clean the connection, the USB cable connector, USB port etc and reconnect.

This situation could also happen if you have dropped the device, any little shake/**** could make changes to the internal system of the disk.

Try using a different USB cable to connect it to the PC

My personal experience is..... USB devices should be used sparingly and for things that are not critical like (MP3, mobile, camera etc) I rarely use external harddrive thru USB, never to store critical data.....an issue ever with the disk the data is almost gone unless it's recovered by an hardware expert after opening the drive and thru special system/data recovery devices.
The last option is to format it again, many times my MP3 player has been funny and gave me similar read issue and I had to format it many times to be read again by the PC, so i learnt a leason from that......never to connect a harddisk from USB, it's better to have larger harddisk inside the PC and use some DVD disks to carry your critical data to the place of work....(they cost less also) if they fail just throw them and use a new DVD disk

Critical error

A "critical error" could be caused by many things: Faulty RAM, a bad cable, overheating, faulty power supply, corrupted hard drive, damaged circuit trace on motherboard, and others. To fix, try removing the hard drive and trying a known-good unit, if possible. Format and do a clean system install on the replacement drive. This way you may be able to salvage data from the old drive once you get the system back online. Also make sure all RAM and any expansion cards in the system are fully seated. If this process doesn't help, you are probably dealing with a faulty cable or bad RAM. In my experience, the possible culprits are as follows, starting with the most likely:
1.Faulty/corrupted hard drive 2.Faulty drive cable 3.Bad RAM 4.Faulty power supply (can cause drive corruption) 5.Bad motherboard 6.Incorrectly seated/faulty peripheral cards 7.Bad CPU
If you can describe the circumstances surrounding this failure, or if any upgrades or other service were performed recently, these will be clues as to the source of the error. Please post them if available.

Pc suddenly requires my western digital to be formatted

The drive is likely failing; Windows is unable to located a boot record for the drive and therefore it wants to format it in order to continue; trying it on a 2nd pc confirms this.
It may be possible to use a utility such as Data Doctor's Data Recovery to recover the data but it's going to cost some $$.
You can check out the utility at http://www.software.com/view/8432/0/data-doctor-windows-data-recovery-software
I've used this in the past to recover data from drives that were overwritten; and to undelete files that were lost when someone accidently deleted a user's windows profile.
Hope this helps! good luck!
