You could try and clean the fader for pitch control, use a good quality contact cleaner/lubricant spray, but the one that does not respond at all may need to be replaced.

Cleaning the faders can make them stiff and hard to use. Replace is the go. It will probably need to be done from the inside, or at least the whole front panel removed. It would be a good idea to clean all the switches and buttons. A decent service is what is required.

This is not unusual on DJ gear. it gets a hammering. :)

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You mean service manual?, they won't give you, especially not to 'normal peoples' , since you ain't may open the unit:) And i have the same prob, while educated high enough, pioneer, stanton and all the oem-tables won't give a service manual. Even the distribiteur ain't got one(stanton). And all those revieuws about audio dj studio gear you can't take serious, since they only let you see the options.
While they are mentioned on the site and then they give gear a best buy thingy... I've asked pioneer asked if the caps and motor were decent or or chinese, not one reaction. Vestax, allen & heath and offcourse the best... denon gives it.
everybody can buy the service manual of a car, but electronics won't. So the new pioneer turntable ain't nothing special, since pioneer allways place the brand burr brwon(which is in fact is texas instruments thesedays), since a lot of peoples think that says a thing. It doest say a thing. And a lot of hi-fi magazines which say something it's good and last, pls join me and mail them that you want to know about the parts inside, like you buy a car.

I am new in to djaying and i bought a stanton mc 203 which s still in ood condition but my problem is the speed on the right cd keeps n changing time and again unlike on the left cd and this sometimes...

well the cd speed problem is about the components been under alot of use, they get worse with time. I'm not sure I think you should be able to lock the speeds somehow.

How do i attatch preamp to marantz sr9200 for phono

If you are talking about a phono preamp, take the output rca cables from the turntable, "red and white" plug it into the preamp input, "labled" next take a red and white cable wire male ends, "3 to 6" feet long, and plug the one end in the output of the preamp, "labled" and finally plug the remainder into the AUX input of the Marantz receiver matching the colour codes so the left and right channels don't get mixed up, you now should be good to go.

Hi, Bought marantz tape deck on Ebay. Works fine but running slower than normal How to fix, Im a Hobbiest

Usually this is due to old belts. You should replace them.

If this doesn't solve the problem, you'll probably have to adjust motor speed. This is done by a variable resistor that may be found on the main board or sometimes on the motor itself.

Hope you can solve the problem.

Hi there on my stanton t-80 decks every so often it will only start playing out of one speaker. I've changed the cables and was fine and then it occured again, its not the mixer because i've done checks on...

It could be a problem with the cartridge/stylus, since you have eliminated the mixer as a source of the problem, it must be in the turntable. The only place for it to come from would be the stylus/cartridge or the wires in the tone arm, or the pre-amp that those wires go to, or some bad solder in the output circuit being used. My guess would be the cartridge and/or stylus, it is taking much more contact and friction than anything else which could cause it to be intermittent. Please understand that I can only guess at your problem since I do not have the unit in front of me to check myself, so I can not be certain of your problem.

I hope this helps,

I have a stanton-vestax cd-11 dual cd player, and was wondering how to get a cd to play on it. I put one in, turned the player on, pushed all the buttons and nothing happened. how does it work?

I have had one of these for many years: Switch it on, you must make sure the two transit screws at the back of each deck are fully unscrewed and loose, let the machine displays settle down, then insert a CD, then press the 'reset' button. There is a built-in delay of about 11 seconds before the deck begins to read. After this the machine should then display the first track number, and pressing the big red button will start play.

Pressing the 'reset' button again stops playback and the CD spins down, but if you leave the CD in there it will eventually re-index and cue up again. This feature is to enable fast, one-button CD changing and it works very well in practice, as the 11 second delay is enough time to take one CD out and get another in there before it tries to read it again.

To stop playback just press the 'reset' button (this is the most used button!) and take out the CD. After the delay, the machine will try to read a CD as normal, but display 'no CD' on the display. There is no stop button, as this unit was designed for continuous use in a club or disco.

Hope this helps. :)

Stanton C304 cd drive broken

You have to unplug the unit and remove it. If you cannot do it, ask for help.
