You could try and clean the fader for pitch control, use a good quality contact cleaner/lubricant spray, but the one that does not respond at all may need to be replaced.

Cleaning the faders can make them stiff and hard to use. Replace is the go. It will probably need to be done from the inside, or at least the whole front panel removed. It would be a good idea to clean all the switches and buttons. A decent service is what is required.

This is not unusual on DJ gear. it gets a hammering. :)

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Open stanton str8 100s to fix pitch button

Are you talking about a pitch control that you turn left or right, or are you talking about a push button to select speeds? Two very different things. For more information, please visit my website at Thank you.

So i was spinning on my wife's stanton str8 100's and the pitch control button is stuck. how can i fix it?

Are you referring to a speed selector switch or a pitch control? When you say it's stuck, are you referring to a control you push on or off, or something that turns? For more information, please visit my website at Thank you.

Stanton str8 60

The Stanton STR8-60 is a direct drive record deck, so this shouldn't happen unless the platter was damaged but after a little research I found that the Stanton's can get a faulty chip which is meant to regulate the speed and therefore can make it spin erratically.

Stanton STR8-100 Turntable ground wire?

There is no such ground points in the Stanton STR8-100. The main thing you have to check is the RCA cable used. You should a high quality RCA cable suitable for Phono connections. If you use a normal RCA cable then it will produce HUM because if its weak ground shield.

Try with a good quality RCA cable with Good ground shielding.

Big wow and flutter problem on Stanton T.60 turntable. it speeds up and slows down very quickly, any solutions?

It is possible that the problem is caused by a dirty/dusty pitch slider control. To clean it get a can of spray switch cleaner like Servisol (which is an excellent product) and I have been using that for 20 years now.
Using the long applicator pipe, spray that into the slide control and work it in. Hopefully this will cure your problem. If not then it could be a fault linked to the speed control circuit.

Wavering speed.

You'll need to contact Stanton for support on this, as they do not have any authorized service centers. All repairs are done in house. However, because this is an older model, I am not sure they support it any more.
