No. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Do you have Kodak EasyShare software? If you dont, then download it from Kodak.com site. Select "support" and then click on "Kodak Easyshare Software - Windows Operating System". Download and install in your PC. Use this software to download your pictures to PC.

My Camera Won't Upload Pictures To My Computer.

Possible solutions:
Remember you need to turn the camera on when transferring.
Try a different USB outlet
Try a different cable
Try a different computer.
If all fails please contact KODAK in order to arrange a repair or order a new cable. Remember your USB cable is covered under the same warranty as your camera, so remember your serial number when calling:

All of my pictures are not uploading from my simm card It seems to skip some help

Try a find the pattern. Are the pictures that are not uploading larger, smaller on a dif. drive saved as dif. file types or ... than those who you can upload.
There might be a fault in the file(s) and this is why they do not upload.

Trouble uploading "duplicate" pictures

I've just found a fix for this problem after fighting it myself for a week. Don't use the transfer window that Easyshare gives you when you connect your camera (or which is also available under the tools/cameras/viewers dropdown menu).

Cancel this window if it comes up. Then select "add pictures" from the file dropdown menu (as if you were going to add pictures from your hard-drive to the easyshare gallery). The camera will appear in the folder list. Open the m1063 folder, select the pictures you want (or select all) then click the "add pictures" button.

Kodak m1063 do I need a camera dock to download pictures ?

Try a smaller memory card. I had an 8 gig card in the camera and the pc would not recognize it. I switched to a 1 gig and it found it right away. The problem is in the pc not the camera.
