Question about Televison & Video
Since there is no make listed,I will relay the way mine does it.My TV has 2 menu buttons. One opens a large menu to the left going up and down, the other opens a circular menu on the right side. The circular menu needs to push through by using the directional pad.If you only have 1 menu,it will most likely be under the audio option.Simply find the option for caption,or perhaps CC,and there should simply be an ON or OFF option. Then click on ENTER and exit the menu however yours does it.It should go away.If you have any questions or need more help, just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.I really encourage responses so I can follow up properly as I know where you stand and asking someone else restarts all the explaining because we cannot see other 'Expert's' responses.Good luck,Greg

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: cannot turn-off close caption.
If you have the remote, press the button marked CC.Keep pushing it until it says CC off on the TV.It might take around four pushes depending on what CC mode it is in.I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.Thank You very much!

Tips for a great answer:
Not all TV programs and product
commercials are made with
Closed Caption (CC) information
included. Neither are all Closed
Caption modes (CC1, or CC2) necessarily
being used during the transmission
of a closed caption program.
Refer to your area's TV program listings
for the stations and times of
Closed Caption shows.
To close the close caption display from screen; press "CC" button on the remote control.
