Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

My KODAK 5250 IS NOT PRINTING GOOD COLOR. I have purchased both new toners and replaced. Still no Luck. I also loaded over the holidays software for my new sony cyber shot. It probally doesn't have anything to do with my problem. I also got on line and updated the software for the printer to the latest version hoping that would fix the problem. The last thing I did was unplug printer, give it a minute, repluged and no change. Help.

Have you tried printing a test sheet from Kodak? They often include one in thier software. The problem might be in the printed material, not the printer or software.

No color


Go to support on the Kodak website. Enter your model number and click on downloads. Select driver and download it. The software will guide you through the installation.

Reload the software, if it still won't print replace the printer. The cost of All In Ones is so low that the repair cost will exceeed the cost of the replacement. I go my new Canon free with a rebate.

You are possible loading the paper in up-side-down. Try loading the paper flipped over. A lot of kodak photo paper have bar-codes printed on one side for the printer to scan and verify you are using the proper paper for the printing job you assigned to it.

When printing a photo, the colors are light and very poor quality. it seems to print a document in black and white ok . the model no. is 5250. I had a model 5300aio before this one and I had a constant...


This is one thing you may do.

Bring out the ink cartridge and apply a folded tissue paper to the ink nuzzle and press firmly. If the tissue comes off well blotted with ink it means you still have a good amount of ink in it and the nozzle is not blocked. If not blotted or scantily blotted, it means ink is really low or nozzle is blocked. To be very sure of this, place nuzzle in a plate/saucer with a bit water so that the nozzle is soaked. Leave for about 10 minutes. Then apply the tissue again. If still not well blotted it means ink is really low or empty. If new you should return it for a replacement. In the case of blocked nozzles, the procedure may be repeated over to get results.

Purchased a kodak printer 5250 series. printer runs but only blank sheets come out during printing or coping process


Sounds like print head needs replacing, try the troubleshooting guide on Kodak website, appears to be a common problem with these Kodak printers, if new it should be covered under warrenty although if not they are expensive

My Kodak Easy Share 5300 Printhead needs to be replaced. Where can I get one?


Call Kodak tech support at 1-800-421-6699. Tell them that you are missing colors and have already tried cleaning and reseating the printhead (which I recommend you try first). Normally they will send you out a new one for free.

Brother HL 5250 red light flashing


I found this solution on the web-- Hope it helps.

The HL-2070N gets stuck in a toner end-of-life error condition. Perform the following to clear :
With paper loaded, new toner in,

Open front door
Turn off printer
While holding down the GO button, turn printer back on
When all four LEDs light up release GO button. All LEDs will turn off
Press the GO button 2 times. The 3 LEDs (toner, drum, paper) will light up solid
Press the GO button 5 times
Paper light will be blinking
At this point the toner end-of-life condition has been reset. Close front door.
BTW, I got this from Brother Support. Also, just a reminder, timing is important here so don't pause between button presses.

Kodak Easy Share 5500 will not print anything with black in it

Within the tool, select Print quality, then No black, missing text, or text quality.

After answering all the questions (assuming you haven't abused your printhead) you will be prompted to enter a service number, name, and address to be mailed a replacement printhead.

I just went through this and was told my printhead would arrive in 2 to 5 business days.
