SOURCE: I purchased a Cote d'

One of the dials should be seconds so you won't be setting that, the other two should be day and date, when you pull the stem and crown all the way out you can set the time there is a halfway setting ( pull the stem halfway out) if you turn one way it's the day of the week the other way is the date. Hope this helps! Also what appears to be a second hand on the dial a lot of times is actually a stopwatch.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not set the date or time between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m. to avoid damage to your Geneva watch. The gears sit too close together during these times.
  • If your Geneva watch becomes wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible. Keep your watch away from saunas and hot tubs, as the extreme heat diminishes the watch's water resistance.

How do I use a 3 dial chronological watch with one stem?

You can't. The stem is purely for adjusting the time and date. There are three other buttons, for start, stop, split time and reset.

Make and model of the watch please?

How do i set my Geneva Japan Movt 257 Watch?

You pop the 'crown' out (dial) then turn it till correct time, then push it back in. It's on E-how, depending on the type of watch, or how many dials it has, the directions may change.

What is the best way to de-mist a watch face? Left crown unscrewed then got in a hot tub!! face mists up after wearing it for about 5 minutes

Try putting it in a warm cupboard (with the crown unscrewed) for about a day or so).

Otherwise its to a watch repairer to take the back off and dry it out.

Goof luck!
