How to set the time zone on JL 708: 1) Turn off the clock (remove the power) 2) Turn on and wait until the clock get the right time (at what ever zone) 3) Press time button to set the time 'til the end ... You will see the time zone symbol flashing ... Just press the up arrow to get the time zone you wish ...

I dont know if this will work on your clock or not , but on the projection clock we have I detached the projection unit and tryed to screw it back it in the opposite way and it wouldnt work so i just used velcro to attach it back on to the clock and with it being on velcro it's easy to ajust to wherever i want to point it.
