just buy the exact replacement cord, and remove the little metal cover, where the cord goes into the machine, and replace the cord just like the old one was.. you will need a Philips screwdriver.

Replacing the pull cord on a scott bonnar sx4000

Home Depot and other home improvement stores sell universal replacement pull cords for less that 4 dollars. Instructions are on the bag. Look at the screen covering the pull cord to see if it is bolted on or pop riveted. If it's pop riveted you'll have to drill out the rivets to get at the cord. Have a pop rivet tool and the proper sized rivets ready to re install the cover

I need to replace a cord on a GE window air unit...Mo number AEW10AJ...Is there a instruction manual or can you tell me how to re hook up a power cord ( what wire goes where)....

Replacement can be done with any generic cord of the same gauge wires. White wire= neutral, Black wire= hot, green wire = ground (connects to the metal chassis of the unit).Just get the new cord and replace the old one wire at a time.

Replace electric cord

First,follow manufacturers instructions if possible.

If you need a 4-wire cord you will attach the black wire to one of the gold or brass colored screws on the dryer hookup and the red wire to the other brass or gold screw. The white wire will connect to the silver screw and the green wire will connect to the green screw or to a screw that is connected to the frame of the dryer.

If you need a 3 wire cord you will place the two outside wires (if looking at the cord if laying flat), one on each brass or gold screw.Next there should be a metal strip or jumper that you will place to connect the green screw connected to the frame of the dryer and the silver or white screw together. Then place the white, or center wire, on the silver or white screw.

Instructions that came with the dryer should show you how to do this.

Make sure the cord is unplugged before unhooking the hold cord or installing the new one.

If you see something different that what i describe or need anything else just write.

Washing machine power cord is broken

If the cord is dammaged and needs replaced, vist your local appliance parts store or check the manufactures web site for a replacement one. Once you have one, open the console and unplug the old cord. The replacement part should have instructions for a step by step.
