Question about 2wire (1000-400108-001) Router
Have tried trying to setup above modem using the http://gateway.2wire.net but nothing happens also tried the http://192.168.1.254 still no entry any other suggestions .have tried resetting disconnecting and also a heap of other config commands no luck
Don't try pointing your browser at random addresses in hopes you'll hit the modem, that's silly.
Instead, if you computer is configured by it using DHCP then point your browser at the address of the DHCP Server (in Windows, open a command prompt and type IPCONFIG /ALL to find out this address).

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
