It does come with everything in the box you need to rig your boat. If you are going to rig it on a fiberglass boat I would mount the Side Imaging transducer right under the jackplate and make sure you can see from side to side without anything blocking it on either side of the transducer. Then I would epoxy a transducer (XP 9 20) in the hull of the for high speed readings and then use a Y cable (AS SIDB Y) to tie the 2 transducer together.

How do I remove the headlight switch on a 1992 e350 in my motorhome

Pull the knob off the switch. Switch shaft has a flat side and knob has a metal retainer clip inside it.
2) Pull the dash panel off by your left knee. Don't remember if there is a retainer nut on front of dash or not. Don't think there is.
3) When you get the dash off I think there is a retainer nut that holds the switch to the front of mounting bracket.
4) Unplug headlight switch electrical.
5) Loosen retainer nut and I think the switch will come out towards the firewall.
I think that dash panel comes off pretty easy. If you look up underneath I think you can tell how it comes off.

Steps to replace thermostat on uline 2015 wc

I have a Model 2015WCS wine cooler. The thermostat control and sensor is part number 2767-1. You can find it from a number of suppliers. I called U-Line to get these instructions. They worked! I cannot stress how important it is to work carefully and slowly so you do not kink or crimp the new sensor or damage any of the refrigeration lines.
UNPLUG THE UNIT! Remove the knob and plastic front panel, and remove the back panel. Do this is a place with lots of room. Remove all of the shelves. Slightly loosen the two screws in the bottom center of the evaporator plate, inside and at the back of the storage unit. These screws secure the coiled sensing portion of the temperature sensor. Remove the screws and standoffs at the bottom of the Evaporator Plate and gently slide out the sensor. Working between the back of the unit and the back of the inside compartment, feed the coiled portion out through the hole.

Next come the HARD part. The control is mounted with two screws onto a housing within the unit. However, its removal is blocked by the mounting bracket for the button switch for the light. This button switch bracket is either riveted or spot welded onto the base of the unit. The U-Line guy told me to drill out the rivets to make room for removing the control. It's tough metal, but very possible! You will need some screws or a good pop rivet tool to re-mount the bracket when you are done. I ended up making fairly large holes and used 1/4 x 20 flat head screws.
Lay the unit on its side so you can work on the bottom side. You may wish to remove the door before doing this, or be sure the hinge in on the floor so the door will lay open. Locate where the rivets or spot welds are on the bottom outside, and drill them out to release the bracket. Take care not to drill the button switch.
After the bracket is out of the way, remove the two screws holding the Control, and feed the sensor through the back of the unit while pulling on the control. Note the path it takes for reinstalling the new one.
Now you are ready for the new part. CAREFULLY extend the sensor to its full length by gently uncoiling it. Feed it through the ho;le on the side of the housing that holds the control and then to the back of the unit. DO NOT MOUNT THE CONTROL YET. Feed the coiled end through the hole in the back of the unit. Reach inside and direct the sensor coil back into its bracket and tighten the screws. Replace the Evaporator Plate mounting screws and standoffs.
Now you are ready to mount the control in place. Using at least two screws and lock washers, secure the button switch bracket back in its original position.
Stand the unit back up and replace the back. Plug it in to verify that it is working. Replace the plastic front panel, knob, and shelves. Enjoy some wine!

U-line 2015 thermostat

You can order the part from apdepot.com. Changing it out it very simple. just pull the machine out where you can get to the front and the back easily. Once you have that done open the machine and take the two screws that are in the back wall at the bottom low center area. This will release the thermostat line inside the machine. Now just lay down in front and take the thermostat out and pull your line to you and your done.

Need to replace a 1991 honda civic throttle cable?

These are fairly easy and straight forward to replace.
  • Start by removing the cable from the accelerator pedal. Climb under the dash and locate the cable at the back side of the pedal near the top. The cable is similar to the brake cable on a bike that has a knob at each end of it to retain it on the component. You can remove this by turning the cable so that it can slide out the notch on the side of the bracket and slide the knob out.
  • Next remove the cable from the throttle body. This is done very similar to what you just did under the dash. Turn the round bracket attached to the throttle body that the cable is wrapped around until the cable is loose and you can slide it through the notch in the side and slide the knob out.
  • Remove the cable from the mounting bracket. There are two 10mm nuts that lock it into place on the bracket.
  • Trace the throttle cable back to the firewall and remove it from all of the retaining clips.
  • Pull the cable through the firewall. The rubber grommet will come with it.
  • Install the new cable in the reverse order.
  • When you are re-installing the two 10mm nuts near the throttle body, these nuts are used for the adjustments. When the cable is installed on the throttle body, it doesn't need to be really tight, in fact there should be a slight amount of play in the cable. You can use the two 10mm nuts to adjust this.

Good Luck!

Have just purchased a cde-100 for an mx3. Does the "mounting sleeve" come with the unit? If so, is it attached to the unit as shipped? I am studying the installation instructions. Are there more explicit...

mounting sleeve is on the radio when you buy it in most of my experiences.

reinforcing the HEAD UNIT-(the cd player itself) with metal straps means that the DIN(the hole the radio goes into in your dash, either single or double) dash piece is probably made of a softer material, and you should mount a small metal strap, usually does not come with the unit, to the units mounting sleeve, and then mount it to the inside of the dashboard of the car with some screws or bolts. this will keep the cd player from moving around, bouncing, etc while you drive over bumps and such.

you could probably get some metal mounting straps either from the box the radio comes in (very few come with them) or get a dash install kit from an auto parts store or a walmart for your car that will probably include all of the things you need including the dash piece, any mounting hardware, and metal straps the factory recommends or deems necessary, and even a wiring harness adapter.

How do I attach my garmin to my dash mount?

The Garmin Nuvi 255w comes with a three piece dash mounting kit. A round disk smooth on one side tape on the other to affix to the dash (most dashes ar textured and the suction cup will not hold to textures) a suction cup arm with a ball end, and a bracket with a receiver for the ball. Snap the bracket and arm together, this can take a little effort. mount the disk to your dash in a place that doesn't obstruct your view of the road. then place the arm/bracket on the disk and push the lever down creating suction to hold the mount to the dash.
Another option it the beanbag dash mounts that hold the arm without sticking to your dash.

How to separate the face plate housing from the player

It sounds like you need a din size extension. Metra and Schosce both have them. It goes behind the can then mount the can to that and your dash. If it is and ISO mount (radio mounted to brackets in the dash) the its in the wrong screw holes.

Last would be to file the dash bezel to allow fitment.
