Go to and download a free copy of your manual under customer support and enter 7422 in the box. You can save it to your computer and enlarge the diagrams for easy viewing. I would say that the seller owes you a hard copy of your manual. Good luck

Lost sewing instructions for pattern # 7046. It is a old pattern for a woman pants skirt and top.

If you are unable to locate a duplicate of the pattern (that includes the instructions), you may be stuck. Sometimes instructions from a similar style pattern (of the same brand) would be helpful. When/If you get stuck, consider asking some of the sewing clerks at the local fabric store.

Having trouble understanding simplicity pattern 1282 (skirt e)

When I don't understand instructions, I look at the instructional images. Turn your fabric just like the picture. It helps to understand what they are telling you. Make sure you understand their way of noting back and front of fabric. I have been sewing for 43 years and I still do that. I think the people writing the instructions don't actually sew.

I cannot find instructions on how to gather/ruffle with my imagine wave babylock overlocker, please help.I need to know what settings and how many threads to use etc.

I do not have the Wave, but in the manual for my Imagine, on page 17, it states:

"at the maximum setting of 2.0 the differential feed can gather lightweight fabric to nearly double fullness.

To maximize the gathering effects, use the longest stitch length setting."

There is no indication as to the number of threads to use, but in the picture, it appears to be four.

I would use scraps of the same fabric to be ruffled and test this technique until I achieved the preferred look.
