Question about Canon Cameras
You didn't give me a model to go by but, I'm going to assume it's a pocket point and shoot with an SD type card. If you removed the card from the camera to download from a card reader it's very possible that you switched the card to the lock position. Remove the card and unlock it I have a small diagram see here
If the card was not removed then there you possible just turned off or unplugged the USB cable which has corrupted your card. You need to format your card.
