BO is bypass operation fault and FS is temp.sensor failure. It is recommended that you contact a pool professional to fix this. If you are in the Phoenix Metro area you can contact me at info@wefixuglypools.com

Had a power outage yesterday now heater won't ignite. No error codes.

bo = 'Bypassed Operation'
heater is now controlled via your automation system.
Create a heat call, turn solar off if active.
Heaters should be set to auto on.

"bo" when turns on then goes to service and shows

Bo means bypass operation which means the heater is being controlled by an outside control. There are 2 togs on the back of the board that control this function

Have a h400ng with a bd code on the board

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

BD or BO? I am not aware of a BD error but BO means the heater is set to bypass operation which means it is set up to run with a remote. If you have a remote in the system it is failing; if not you need to reset the dip switch (#2) to the off position. For help with these steps please refer to the owner's manual here.

Hayward H400 error code bo

This error means "Bypass Operation". On the back of the control module there are some "dip switches". They have an on or off position. Check switch number 2. Make sure it is in the "off" position. The "on" position is for a remote thermostat.

Pool Heater will not light. (Flashes AO)

If you hear the blower come on, then you have an air sensor problem. Hopefully the air hose popped off, or has cracked...If not then you will probably neet to replace the air pressure switch.
