I just brought a brand new x box console and a brand new red dead redemption game for my son friday day before christmas. i put the game into the x box and it keep pausing and stopping. i took the game back to walmart manager swicth the game and gave me another brand new game i get home put the game in and its doing the same exact thing so i take it back again now shes telling me that she cant swicth because it must be the system and they can only swicth a open game one time. so i took back the system and now i have another brand new system and no game to put in it . she says i have to contact the manfacturer because they can only switcth it one time. i contacted box they refer me to you all and told me to give yall this reference#1145763857 and should definetly be able to help me tiffany----1843-537-6655

Some video games have pauses in it because it is taking alot of time to read the disc. You can Stop this by Installing the game to the hard drive. To do this you need Insert the game. Then tell your son to go to the slide right before he presses the button to start the disc. You should see options on the bottom of the screen, Press y. This should take you to a different slide. You will see the option to Install to hard drive. Then you press the option and it will start to install the game. This should reduce the stress on the xbox reading the disc and should stop pausing. If this does not work then there are things called patches that a company makes to fix defects that they did not catch before. I have had a game called bio-shock and it had the same problem. I also installed it but no dice. So i had to download a patch. To download it your console must be connected to xbox live. Rea peat the process in the beginning but instead of installing the hard drive To the slides to the right and you should see options to download thing for this game.(note you must have xbox live) Some downloads require pay. Buy be sure to install the game to hard-rive because this is free.
