My camera takes pictures automaticlly really fast. Is there a setting that I should change to repair or stop it? Without turnig off the camera.

The camera shooting mode/drive mode has been changed to Continues advance which takes four pictures when the shutter is pressed and held. Or it could be on Multi Frame mode where it takes 9 pictures when the shutter is button is pressed once.

Here is a PDF manual that will help.

http://www.google.ca/webhp?hl=en#hl=en&source=hp&biw=1350&bih=823&q=Konica+Minolta+DiMAGE+X60+PDF+manual&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=6a0673dc5c3f3912

You will need to copy and past this in your browser window.

The link is good I'm using right now to determine the problem.

The following are two screen shots of page 45 of the manual describing what needs to be done to bring the camera back to single frame use.

And page 37 of the manualtri3mast_104.jpg
This will bring your camera back to single picture with the click of the shutter

Konica minolta dimage a1

Sounds like a CCD fault. Many A1 users, including myself, have had this. Allegedly, Sony, who made and fitted the CCD sensors, had a manufacturing "issue" at the time. Many A1s were recalled and others, including mine, have been successfully repaired free of charge by Sony on request. I suggest that you contact your vendor or a local repair shop to discover whether this service is (still?) available in your location. It's well worth the effort as this is a fine camera. Good luck.

Lcd black, but can hear the picture being taken

This is part of a known problem with the SONY image sensors that operate the lcd. There is in fact a recall that will replace the bad componets. You need to contact SONY for repairs. Check out this website to learn more about your problem. http://www.imaging-resource.com/badccds.html
