Sorry to say but, there are no products that will clear your galvanized pipes without causing major leaking and contamination. best thing to do is replace all galvanized pipe with copper or PVC type piping.

The eco light is flashing constantly on my Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher, it is making a noise like a pump is running continously, but the unit will not operate. Can you give me some possible faults and...

The symptoms on a Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher:
  • eco light is flashing constantly;
  • noise on pump running continuously;
  • but the unit will not operate.
Possible corrective actions include:
  • water level - pls check incoming water pressure, filter, water level sensor, water valve;
  • base/bottom overflow sensor - there is a float switch in the base of the machine inside a small plastic dish. Behind the kick panel, access through a metal lid/panel/cover secured by 2 small screws. Dry completely the area;
  • Air/dry/ventilate the unit/system for a couple of days;
  • reduce incoming water pressure.
Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Dishwasher leaks

At the bottom under the door there is a plastic drip catcher which comes loose from galvanised lip, re attach and that will stop leaks at the bottom, alternatively you adjust the door clip and that will give you a better seal.

House water pressure is 90psi static, when a faucet is turned on pressure drops to 35psi and water output is considerably less. Why and how do I fix it?

To cause the pressure and flow drop you are experiencing indicates a major restriction in the the main supply pipe to the house. The stop **** where the house supply is connected to the street main would the place to start. Find the faucet that is closest to this and check the pressure/ flow and if that is OK continue to each sucessive faucet in the line. You should be able to narrow down where the restriction could be. Yuo may need the help of a plumber to fix the problem.
If the piping is the very old style galvanised steel pipes. then the rust/corrosion buildup inside the pipes would cause the restriction and is indicated by rusty water coming out if the water has not been used for a few hours. Total replacement is the only fix for this problem.

Does not fill with water

If no water comes into machiene and the water input is on with the correct water pressure then you should determine if the water input solinoid is working. This solinoid (valve) can be shut off by the anti flood device of the washer due to water leaks on the floor of the washer (leaky pipe etc.).
If the washer does get water in but not the correct ammount you should suspect the water level sensor (plastic pipe that feeds air pressure due to rising water) switch. The pipe could be blocked / obstructed or the pressure switch contact burnt ... replace pressure switch.

We began replaceing our galvanized pipes. Since

The problem is that when you disturb the galv. pipes, the gunk inside breaks loose, and travels to the faucets, gets stuck, and limits the volume of water that comes out.
If possible open the lines at the service valves, and force water through the spigot to fluch out the faucet. The service value could also be partially clogged, keep that in mind

Why is my warm water is cold? The hot is hot and cold is cold but warm is cold.

There is too much pressure on the cold feed, reduce the pressure on the cold by partly closing off the tap on the cold.
Or ensure the hot feed is fully open and not blocked, check if there are filters inline - remove the feed pipes at the washer end and look into the inlet valves - clear if blocked.
The inlet valve is common to hot and cold water with only a small pipe to fill the machine, the cold water is being forced back up the hot water pipe due to the pressure you can feel the pipe cool down after running hot then go to warm, if hot water is flowing the pipe will stay hot, if not then cold is going up the hot pipe.

Integra install problem

Assuming that your car is a negative grounded car, it should not make any difference in the power supply if the metal is galvanised, zinc conducts electric the same. As long as the ground connection is good, it should work fine.
