On My Iphone i Have The Facebook Icon on my home page and everytime i try To get On It Doesn't Work.How Can I Fix That?

The icon comes back doesn't it?I have been tapping icons on my iPhone. When I tap the icon disappears and it opens so you can work in it. When I finish I push the home button and the icon is in place. I tried the weather channel and Audible.

double click on the home button to see all your open applications and close each one out by "tossing" them upward. Then restart Facebook by clicking on the app icon. If this does not work, check to see if there is an update needed in the App Store application under "updates". All else fails, remove the app using iTunes and sync you iPhone, then download again from the App Store.

Download the Facebook app from the play store, or iTunes if it's an iPhone

I assume you have tried to simply rest your finger on the icon until it starts to wiggle, deleting it by clicking the X. If this doesn't work, or it says the download is waiting even after trying to stop it, you will need to try a hard reset. Hold down the lock button and the home button for at least ten seconds. This may help. the best/easiest way to fix it if this does not help is to go where there is free Wifi and simply finish the download where it will not use your bandwidth.

Is the phone fully charged? If yes, then try pressing and holding the power button on the top of the phone and the home key (round button below the screen) at the same time until it turns on. this will sometimes do what is called a soft reset and fix your problem without deleting any of your personal information on the device.

If that doesn't work try connecting your phone to iTunes. When you bring up your phone in iTunes you should see a part that says "if you are experiencing problems with your iPhone click here to restore it to it's original settings" this will make your iPhone "out of the box new" as far as the memory goes, and you will have to re-sync all of your stuff to it from iTunes but it may fix your problem.
