Question about Lands Phones

1 Answer

Whilst decorating I removed the front panel from the white box, this left the wires hanging as they were not connected properly. There are 4 wires (green, white, orange and yellow) and 6 ports. Any idea which colour goes in which number port? This is only used for the internet.. Any advice would be welcome. Cheers Mark

depress the brake pedal whilst connecting a volt meter to this white wire , if you get power it's to do with the brake switch , if no power then just a spare wire dropped down and no need to worry any further about this wire , so if it did show power remove the brake switch/control box and see if it's obvious where the wire fits , get a workshop manual to help as these manual are invaluable with step by step guides ,etc

Ouku single din no sound from rca cables

Sorry I did not use the video out RCA cables. My audio RCA cables worked fine... I ran them to my JBL amplifier through a conversion adapter. I did not run it direct to the amp.. I used Metra TYTO-01 03-08 Toyota Vehicles Harness for JBL SYS (Ebay item 160560648718) and it worked great.

Here is the wiring color coding that I found online:

I am taking electricity from my home to my garage. I have a Q06-12L100s load center in the garage and want to know how to connect the wiresl. The ground is obvious. The white wire is connected to the big...

Here's a picture of a messy amateur installation:

steve_con_74.jpg

Look closely and find the power feeder conductors entering the panel on the bottom. The white rises up to the right and terminates in the "neutral" bus lug on the top right. The black also rises up to the right and terminates in the left "line" bus lug on the left. The red wire rises up to the left and terminates in the "line" bus lug on the right - just below the neutral lug. Finally, the ground rises left and terminates in a separate ground bar that is secured directly to the back of the upper left side of the panel box in pre-tapped holes for this purpose.

Since you are supplying this panel from your home's panel, you MUST keep the neutral and ground feeders separated in this panel (even though they will both probably originate from the neutral bar in your home's service panel). You must NOT install the long "bond" screw through the neutral bar in to the panel box. If the long bond screw is already installed, you must REMOVE it (usually this screw it shipped loose in a bag with a tag on it).

When the picture was taken, the flash reflected back making the right side of the neutral bar difficult to see - so I can't determine if the screw is installed there or not. When connecting circuits to this panel, the hot wires will of course go to the circuit breaker terminals, but the neutral and ground wires must not be mixed. The ground wires (and ONLY the ground wires) must terminate in the ground bar. The neutral wires (and ONLY the neutral wires) must terminate in the neutral bus bar. The person that wired this panel has mixed them. This would be a dangerous situation if the the long bond screw mentioned above is installed in the neutral bar to bond it to the panel box.

I hope this helps and good luck. Please rate my reply. Thanks.

Loose wires.one white and one black at bottom of dishwasher

the black wire is the HOT wire ... it should be connected to 120 volts AC .. the white wire should be connected to the neutral/return wire (also white) ... the incoming AC line shoiuld also include a bare ground wire .. that should be attached to a green grounding screw ... if your machine is already hooked up then there should not be any wires hanging down not connected .. you may be able to see the incoming wire but it should be covered by the dishwasher panels .. all connnections should be made inside a metal box that should be provided under the machine and there should be a strain relief fitting that keeps the wire from pulling out of the box .. ..

Putting new power cord on dryer i have a 3 cord set up a red wire a black wire and a white wire and dont know which wire to connect to which.

on the back of your dryer.
1.connect the white wire to the center of the junction box.

2.than take the red wire and connect it to the left side of your junction box.

3.than take the black wire and connect it to the right side of the junction box.

If you have a green wire on the cord as well. PLEASE make sure it is connected to the dryers back panel. do not leave it to hang.
