Question about Garmin nuvi 1300 Car GPS Receiver
I have a Garmin nuvi 1390 and live in the country, so my Garmin was unable to locate my address.
I'm not sure if this will work on your model, but it may be worth a try.
What I did is this:
I turned on my Garmin at my house and let in acquire the satellites, I then went to the Tools menu and chose "Where Am I?" It should now display your location using longitude and latitude. If you can save this location and name it as "Home", or at the very least write down the longitude and latitude coordinates and then use the "Where To?" function, select Coordinates, type in the coordinates and save it. You should be able to save it with any name you choose.
Hope this helps.
