My samsund ht-c650w reciever will not turn on it will beep ,but will not turn on. What should i do?

Hi Mark

Could it be it's turning on, but then off again very rapidly?

Sometimes these systems run a check on their connections when you turn it on, and if there's a problem, turn off again.

The usual culprit is a short-circuit on one of the speaker wires - check all your cables - especially if you have any which run across walk-ways, through doors, or such... they could have degraded and cause a short.

An easy way to check this is with an 'AA' or pencil battery. Carefully disconnect the speaker wires from the back of your AV receiver, and connect each speaker across the battery in turn, just for a fraction of a second - you should hear a pop or a crackle as the speaker energizes from the battery.

Don't keep it connected for a long time - the crackle you will hear will be very short, and keeping the battery connected for a very long time could potentially over-stress or damage your speakers.

Good luck - and feel free to come back if you need more help!

I have an esp button on my VW should I switch it on in this weather or is it on default?

IMPORTANT NOTE: PERMANENTLY YOU SHOULD LEAVE THE "ESP" BUTTON FREE! It is "ON" by default, and ESP warning lamp on dashboard is turned off.
If you need ESP system deactivation for short time, then push the ESP button. The ESP warning lamp on dashboard will be turned on, for warning you that ESP system is deactivated. Only for short time in few special cases ESP system needs to be deactivated when you need to skid the car to go out of a bad situation, (e.g. to start off on slippery road, to climb on hill slippery road, ...). When you push again the ESP button the ESP system will be activated back, and ESP warning lamp on dashboard will be turned off.
If you don't push the ESP button when driving, and the ESP warning lamp on dashboard will be turned on itself accidentally, the ESP system is faulty and it's not active! Then you need to go at workshop for repair the car!

Please do rate my response. Thanks!

Samsung HT-TZ312 shows "protect" and it turns off

A short on the speaker wires can cause this but most likely your amplifier bias is off or you have a shorted transistor.

First unplug all connections, even the power. Let it sit for a minuit then power it back up.

If it clicks off them it needs professional service.

If it turns on inspect all of your speaker wires for shorts them reconnect them one at a time.

Hope this helps,

you have too much sub cooling, creating ice to form on the condenser wich in turns gives you amazing cooling for a short time then when no more air can pass (b/c of the ice blocking the way) it warms up. next time look under your car after this problem occurs after a short time you will notice alot of water under your car. this is normal for this condition and in extream useage of the A/C system.

10 yrs ago i would tell you to go to Napa and buy a recharge kit, unfortunetly this has been banned due to CFC's and the Montreal air polution act in 1996.

This means you need to go and get a recharge from a service startino or your delarship.

2004 yukon horn problem

obviously there is a short in the system probably in the wiring and likely it is exposed wiring. Motion, moisture, and heat would then effect the wiring and cause it too short out at different times and for varied lengths of times. driving your car would cause it to get hot under the hood, so after awhile the wiring shorts and your horn honks. Turning on and off the system causes motion and if it is stuck in a particular position when it shorts than the horn continues to honk

Are your speakers shorting? Try running it with no speakers, see if it does the same. If it still does the same, like I've posted 3 times now, There is something shorting inside, or something finished. The system locks to PROTECT itself from short damage. Make it repaired if you can't do it yourself. (CAREFUL: If you open it yourself, this system's amplification system contains high voltage, it can shock you really bad if you touch something bad, even if unplugged!) Or buy a new one, like I did, new brand, new model, This jvc one has done it's time.
