Press the button on the dongle, then press and HOLD the power button on the board until it stays solid. had the same problem hope this works

Have the same problem. Changed batteries then it disconnected again after a few minutes. Removed and replaced batteries and "rebooted" the board and it worked again...for a while. Have to repeat the procedure intermittently.

From Activision website: Disconnect the wireless dongle from the usb port on the back of your Wii. After about 15 seconds the board should turn off and no lights should be illuminated.
