Can not hear dial tone or hear caller / can hear on speaker call

Most likely that it is the speaker on the handheld part of the phone. Your sound comes from the base itself when you put your current connection on Speaker-Call. So if you cannot hear the dial tone OR the person on the other end unless on "speaker" it's just the handheld and I believe there are places online you can purchase JUST that part if needed.

After you call the first person press the shift button or green phone button on your phone. You will hear a dial tone to dial the other persons number. After you dial the number press the shift or green phone button again to bring you back to the first person you called. The switch that the handpiece activates is not working. Could be optical, magnetic or physical. It may need cleaning, adjusting or a wire connection repaired. Also check the curly cord and its connections between the handpiece and telephone.

Other person can't here me speak

Hi,

It definitely is not the speaker but the Microphone; we got to have tested no smart way out.

Please let us know if that was helpful enough.

Sony Ericsson K850I - Not being able to hear the people I call

You can reset all settings to factory simply removing the phone battery.
if that does not solve the problem, then the phone is faulty, with bad wiring to speaker or board problem.
Try if the handsfree loudspeaker works, if it does , then it is wiring to handset speaker. If it does not , then it is a faulty audio circuit on board.
