Hi! I have an intuos 3 and the pen has just stopped working I've reinstalled and put in latest drivers (it's an intel mac) The blue light is on and the mouse works Don't want to buy another pen to then realise the problem lies elsewhere? Any ideas?

I have no idea why the pen worked in everything but Vista but I uninstalled everything and reinstalled version 6.1.1-3 driver a second time and everything worked again.
Don't know why it did not take the first time.
Thanks for the assistance.
I did solve it myself. Having downloaded the new drivers off the Wacom website, I hadn't realised they were still sitting on my desktop waiting to be installed. Once I found the folder and opened and installed it everything worked fine!
I think I have figured it out, I believe it is caused by interference from the computer (probably the hdd). try moving the tablet further away from your tower or laptop.. Mine has to be about 12 inches away to be steady.. I use a Lenovo T61p...
I also use Intuos 3 tablet, did you already try replacing the tip and reconfiguring the pen to the screen? You can find this in the driver software, it synchronizes the pen and tablet. If you already tried that, does the problem only occur in Photoshop? Also, check your brush preferences, you can go back to your default settings and see. If talking to Wacom fails, you might have a bad pen or tablet.
