Question about Fujitsu 18C1 Air Conditioner
Good question-- let me ask a couple, and see if this helps us both:
1.) Is it a glass cartridge type fuse (Small-- about an inch long, and 1/4" in dia?
Often you can see inside of these, and tell, that the tiny "filament-like wire' has blown-- Usually there is some balckened residue inside the glass.
2.) Other fuses are best removed from their holders, and checked with a continuity tester. (Be sure to remove the power cord from the wall before touching the fuse.)
3.) If you can get an Ohmmeter-- or a continuity tester (some call them multi-testers)
You take the fuse out, put it on the bench, take the 2 leads from your tester-- touch the tips together, and you will get an indication of what is a CONTINUOUS circuit..
This is the same indication you will see for a GOOD fuse..
If a fuse is blown-- it will be the same as when you hold the 2 leads apart-- Infinite ohms or OPEN.
Does that make sense?
