Windows 7 automatically install your new devices, but the drivers they use are not thte original. I mean that you will have to download the drivers from --->

http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/drivers

After visiting the website, you have to choose your model. Then everything is easy; you select your OS and download every driver you want. Hope this helps :)

Why nvidia graphics not supported to my window 7 ultimate

NVIDIA refuses to roll out drivers supporting Graphical Processing Units that where designed for windows XP and Vista due to known issues with the Windows Vista Operating System misusing system memory while processing graphic data. This has imposed a problem with constructing drivers for windows 7 as they completely removes aspects of windows that are crucial to to those components continual function. Your best Luck is to roll your video drivers back to how windows originally installed them and ignore windows update's assurance of newer updated drivers.
If this doesnt work, then windows xp will start calling your name very shortly (still my fav OS of the decade) GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE RATE THIS POST!!!!

I had windows vista .my webcam was working.now i changed my windows to windows seven but my webcam is not working .i even cont finde the folder or shortcut to open it.

Thank you for your post. After researching your webcam, I don't see any available driver updates from Acer; and Windows 7 compatibility doesn't list this webcam as compatible as seen HERE. You can, however, try installing the Vista driver to see if it may work. There are no guarantees to this method though.http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?type=Hardware&s=acer%20crystal%20eye%20webcam

I changed my OS from windows vista to windows 7, now i think wasnt able to back up the software for the crystal eye webcam. what should i do to have the software back again?

You may download it here:
http://download.cnet.com/Acer-Crystal-Eye-webcam/3000-2108_4-188685.html
Click the blue download now button, and then WAIT. Do not click anything on the next page, it will pop up to download shortly. The rest of the links on that page are not the software for your webcam.

Problem in graphics with windows seven

The problem was due to Display driver compatibility.

Your Graphic card does support Windows 7 (32-bit),
you can download your driver using the link below

http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/196.21/196.21_desktop_win7_winvista_32bit_english_whql.exe

you can paste the url in any Download Manager or in your web browser, but I recommend you to use Download Manager as the file size is big.

Download Manger will let you resume the download if you want to shutdown your PC in any case and download time will be less as compare to normal download using Web browser.

Orbit is a free download manager you can download orbit from the link below.

Crystal eye webcam for acer aspire 6920G says camera not found

hey, I had the same problem, I've got an Acer Aspire 6920 and I swapped out Vista that was on it for Windows XP

I went to the link you posted but it just goes to acer.com
so I figured I'd try something

if you go to acer aspire 6920 drivers, you can only pick Vista and Windows 7, and not Windows XP

instead, pick 6530 drivers (older acer) and pick the Bison driver:
http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/Camera/CCD_Suyin_2.0.8.3.zip?acerid=633639858186446758&Step1=Notebook&Step2=Aspire&Step3=Aspire%206530&OS=V10&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=PA_7

Install it (with or without installing the previous Crystal eye, doesn't matter, and it will work properly

Slow graphics in gaming

Hi
Please make sure the video card driver is updated and also the Bios.
ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_4530/vista/Bios/
Make sure the ac adapter is connected to the system while you are doing the bios update.
ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_4530/vista/Drivers/VGA_NV_(7.15.11.7566_logo).zip
ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_4530/vista/Drivers/Chipset_NV_v.(17.05_logo).zip
Update these drivers
and let me know if it does not work.
Also please post the system requirements for your games so that I could check whether this laptop will be able to run these games.
Also would like to know do u have an integrated video card or a discrete video card. This is very important when you are trying to play games.

Thank you
