I can't get cold water, no matter which setting I choose.

There is a two way electronic valve right where the water fils into your tub, check the wires going to it first to see if they are disconnected, most likely the terminal is corroded and no longer able to conduct electricity. A new valve is around $60, I used a screw to make mine work after the terminal broke off from being rusted and to allow us to do laundry while I waited for the part o come in, and it is still working that way a year later, the part is in the box waiting until the valve fails again.

My whirlpool duet front load washing machine stops in mid cycle

F21 = LONG DRAIN ERROR

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes the water valves turn off. After 4 minutes the “Sd” error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F21 error code will be displayed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear.

Procedure:

1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
4. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
5. If the above does not correct the problem, go to step 7.
6. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
7. Replace the pump.

Alternative Procedure:

If the machine cannot be forced to its diagnostic mode then:

1. Disconnect the washer from the power supply and water supply.
2. Remove the top panel by taking out the three screws in the back of the washer. The pressure switch is right on top.
3. Remove the Molex connector from the water level switch / pressure switch.
Refer to the picture below.
4. Reconnect the power supply but not the water supply.
5. Power the machine. The machine will enter diagnostic mode.
6. Power off the machine.
7. Replace the water level switch / pressure switch.
8. Reconnect the water supply.
9. Power on the machine it will work without error

Washer starts, runs a few seconds and stops, does it over and over

Sound like the internal overload on the motor may be going out .Thsi is usuaklly due to bad or worn bearings. If you know anything abotu electricity, take a voltage reading at the motor whe it is in the run cycle(when it stops) If you stil have have the 110Volts to the motor then the motor is bad and need to be replaced. If you do not then you wil have to look elsewhere for the problem.

Washing cycle light won't stop blinking

The filter might be clogged. If you haven't found a fix or answer yet -it's been 2 days :o) There are two screws on the bottom panel, take it off, unscrew the round cap in the middle (make sure you have plenty of towels) and check the filter.
