Troy-Bilt Hand-Held Blower dies when warm and throttle wide open

You reported that most of the items I would've suggested, you have checked...
Good job.
A couple more things:
  • Replace fuel filter, it's in the gas tank
  • Check and clean the Spark Arrestor screen at muffler, when they plug up, it's a major restriction to exhaust gas flow
  • And check and adjust High/Low screws at carburetor, video attached.
  • And clean or install rebuild kit for carburetor
Good luck...

I have a Red Max HBZ2600 Z Power blower that starts runs a few minutes then slowly dies. Fixable?

Install a new spark plug

Clean or replace the air filter

Use only gas that is no more than 2 months old
& add fuel conditioner such as Sta-Bil or B&S,
unless you have to mix fuel for a 2 cycle motor

Once running & fully warm, adjust carb screws for
fuel mix at idle & fast rpm, then set the idle

Check for spark with a small engine tool avail for that
It looks like a spark plug with a clip on it & avail many places

May have to remove the carb, clean it & install a new kit,if
you still have problems

92 SL1 won't idle-wants to die without pushing gas-just put in new plugs

Remove, clean and inspect the idle control valve on the throttle body. These tend to clog up over time, or the stepper motor fails. Check this before anything else.

If the air filter is clean, then you have either no spark or no gas. Gummed up carberators are well familiar with the leaf blowers. Once a year or every other year you should clean up your carb. During the winter season when your not using the blower, it is a good idea to put a 1/2 bottle of Stabil in the gas tank which will prevent carb gum-up while being stored.
You can remove the spark plug, put it back on the wire, lay the bottom of the plug next to a metal surface. Then pull the motor over while you observe for a good strong spark. If you have a good strong spark, then the problem is with the fuel.
If you have no spark, weak spark, or intermittent spark, then either the coil could be bad, plug could be bad, or you may even have a shorted kill switch.
Either no gas or no spark is your problem. Spark is easiest to check. If spark is good, remove and clean your carberator out thuroughly

Fuel Mixture Ratio Is it - 25:1 40:1 50:1

not sure if yo are changing the jets out but if your using the original screws and jets screw both screws in till they stop then turn 1 and a half turns out they try starting if it kicks and won't run then turn each screw another 1/2 turn out try starting if it runs rough adjust the gas jet a little bit till it runs smooth once it warms up give it full gas and you should get just a slight puff of black smoke to be set right, if it's too lean it will get hot and will be hard to start if it dies, if that happens then give it extra gas. once warmed up it should idle without dyeing if it dies adjust the idle screw up 1/4 turn at a time till it runs at idle without holding the gas trigger, be sure you replace the in line fuel filter and fuel line first then clean the air filter before doing any adjustments. most problems are caused by plugged fuel filter due to ethanol in the gas.

Starts and idles will not run above idle unless choked. Have cleaned carb multiple times new fuel filter new air cleaner and cleaned exhaust screen new plug. Maybe a collapsing fuel line?

Hi,
Have you tried adjusting the carb? There should be two screws on the carb (hi & Low) turn the hi screw completely until it stops and then start the unit. Let it warm up and then begin to back the screw out until it starts to run smoothly but strong. Once you have it running then put it in full run position (choke) and you should be good.
Good luck!

THE ENGINE RUNS FINE FOR 10 SECONDS THEN KIND OF DIES OUT BUT WILL THEN RUN FINE FOR 10 SECONDS AND THEN DIE OUT

Try replacing the in-line fuel filter, the Air Filter and Spark Plugs. Also make sure that you are using the proper start up procedure. In many cases that means using the highest choke setting until the engine tries to start, then going to the next choke setting and so forth until you get to no choke. It is imperative that you let engine run for at least 5 minutes before use to warm up. This will ensure a longer life and consistent running.
