I have heard that the problems with these converted Designer 1 USB's have been and always will be problems for mechanics. I can suggest who you to call for help. His name is Gary and he is the main mechanic at the Montavilla Sewing Center in Portland, OR. He is my good bud. You can call him at 503-2547317 and ask him your question and say that you are a friend of Lin Baker's. I hope he can help you. Otherwise, you can talk with Billy Martin the software guru there. Someone there should be able to help. The USB's should never have been converted over. The new drives are not communicating with the initial floppy drivers. BIG TROUBLES. Trade it in on the LE asap before it loses it's value if it hasn't already. Hope this helps.
you should have received installation adn upgrade instruction form the website where you have downloaded teh upgrade.
if not, you have to get in touch with the company for support. Since it is a accounting software, I will not try to do naything untill I understand the software adn how you are using it.
