How do I change my stereo to aux after I've plugged it in the back of stereo

Most have a selector that allows either direct access to AUX or cycling through AM, FM, CD, etc. to get to AUX by pressing the an INPUT or SOURCE button repeatedly.

If that doesn't work - what is the brand and model stereo?

Theres a simple solution
you should buy
a scart adapter
http://www.amazon.com/Scart-Composite-S-Video-Audio-Adapter/dp/B006RBMJ46/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408100307&sr=8-1&keywords=scart+adapter

and
some rca audio cables
http://www.amazon.com/iMBAPrice%C2%AE-PREMIUM-6-Feet-Stereo-Plated/dp/B001VIYYCK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1408100626&sr=8-2&keywords=rca+cable

plug it in
and plug the red and white cords to your auxiliary input from your Bush model (its located to the back of you home theater and writes aux) then by pressing the aux button you should hear volume from your tv
Ps the adapter switch should be at the output mode
hope that was somehow helpful

I drive a Freightliner Argosy prime mover with a kenwood tuner. Don't know what model. Can't get my ipod to work although I believe it is supported. How do I get the "AUX" function?

Press and hold B.BOOST button for at least one second. This gets you into the settings menu. Use the rotary control to go up and down until you reach the setting for AUX On/OFF and toggle to on. Now whenever you press the source button AUX should be one of the options displayed. The ipod plugs in using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable and the input is on the bottom right of the faceplate. Cheers, Dan

Can't get auxiliary to work on Pioneer Mosfet Head unit 50x4

you have to turn the AUX input on through the function menu which can be accessed by following these steps

1. with the unit on. press and hold the source button unitl the unit turns of (or goes into demo mode, which is fine)

2. depending on the model that you have, you will have to press and hold the
(volume button or the audio button), until a menu is displayed.

3 . toggle through until you find AUX 1 and AUX 2. i would turn them both on and see which one you have plugged into, then you can go back and turn the other off.

4. once you have change it to ON. press the source button to turn on. the aux option should now be in your source options.

5. also, while on AUX, you can go into the audio settings and turn up the SLA (sound level adjustment) to +4

hope this helps

Can I plug my MP3 player into the aux. socket on my car radio, with the appropriate cable and play the stored music?

You should be able to do that as long as you have the right cable.

Most of the mp3 players have a "mini-stereo" jack (3.5mm) and some car stereos have the same type of jack for "aux" input, and others car stereos have RCA jacks for the "aux" input.

Even if the jacks are not the same type, you can use an adapter cable that converts the mini-stereo jack to an RCA jack. You can find them at many places like Best Buy, Circuit City or Radio Shack.

Depending on the type of car stereo you have, you would normally press the source button to change between the tuner, cd player, aux or whatever you may have connected to the stereo. You may even have a seperate button to press for the "aux" input.

I hope this was helpful to you, if you need more information just ask, and please give more info on the type of mp3 player and the make and model number of the car stereo.
