Hi !! If you dont plug park brake and light switch, some options will be blank. Turn off power supply conect those plugs (im advice you to do not conect speed cable). Turn on them reset the unit.
P.S. The park brake cable can be conected with tre ground. This way you can watch dvd with the car in moviment...
Go to the panasonic web and download the last update for your unit !! http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Video/DVD-Recorders-Players/Mobile-Navigation/model.CN-NVD905U
I hope it helps yous... sorry my english....

Not sure why this worked, but I went to the Menu and the Set Area Code selection. The area code setting was blank, so I entered my area code and saved it. Caller ID started to work again. As a test, I went back to the Set Area Code selection and deleted the area code and saved it. It is currently still working. Seems really odd, but it worked for me.

SOURCE: can't change to pulse dialing
The Vetech phone will only support tone dialing. It does have a menu option that turns tone on or off but it still will not allow pulse dialing. I had to change the phone service from pulse dialing to tone dialing to get the phones to work. As it turned out, the phone company no longer charges extra for the tone service.

SOURCE: access the menu options manually
Press the set's Volume (+) and (-) buttons simultaneously to activate the Menu display. Use the Channel Down button to scroll to the desired menu item, then use Volume (+) or (-) to change that item, or to activate a sub-menu if any. (If in a sub-menu, again use Channel Down to reach the desired item, then Volume (+) or (-) to change its setting or value.) When finished, press Volume (+) and (-) simultaneously as needed to "back out" of the menu.
Not all set functions can be reached this way, especially a few involving numeric entry; but this will get you started. Good luck!
