So I know its illegal for the screen to work when the ebrake is off, but why does it still tell me picture off for your safety when the ebrake is up? Did I forget to plug in a wire? Any help would be great..
just get 2 toggle switches and wire them up one to the foot brake wire and one to the ebrake wire ....then connect the foot brake wire to a 12 v+ and the ebrake wire to a ground ....then flip the switches as if you were stepping on the brake and pulling the ebrake then releasing the foot brake .... worked like a charm for me !

do u have the foot brake wire hooked up also? u need it, then put ur foot on the brake, then apply the e brake.
You may have to cycle the e-brake. My Jensen DVD unit requires that I have the e-brake on when I select DVD function. Then I have to wait for the "lawyer screen", drop the e-brake for 3-5 seconds, then reapply it, and the movie will start.

Hi,We just bought a chrysler grand voyager 1998. We cannot get the vcr player to work.It says Phillips DT-124 on it. The buttons light up when car is on however none of the buttons work. We put a vcr cassette in but it would not come out and door stayed opn. Also when cassette is put in it doesnt seem to grab it and pull it in like a home vcr player. Are we missing something here or is it just broken. If so can we fix it ourselves. Also how do we work the alpine remote control-again cannot figure it out as have no manual, Thanks in advance
