I suggest that you run the Windows 7 Hardware Troubleshooter on the computer and
check to make sure that the mouse is ok.
1. Click Start.
2. Type in Troubleshooting
in the Start Search.
3. Click on Hardware and
4. Click on Hardware
Now check if that fixes the issue or not.
If the issue still persists, then I suggest that you install the latest
drivers manually from the link and install the same and check.
