When beginning --under my name it states to type my password--there is one that has been already put in --it is not mine--don't know what it is since there are dots that appear--when I try to delete it-the little hand keeps blinking and I have to try about five times until I can delete it and put mine in.
After computer is on for a few minutes (I cannot get online) a notice comes on and states "The computer is in use and has been locked." Only Toshiba user Catherine Krupsaw or an administrator can unlock the computer. Has my user name and space for Password--I do not know
my password--my son thinks it is my name--however I cannot put a "k" in anything since it is not working on my keyboard.
Can one letter be replaced or do I have to buy new keyboard?

Righteo, two solutions to your questions here.
Firstly, by the sounds of this, your operating system is corrupt, or you cant access parts quickly, so I would format your hard drive and re-install windows/ operating system.
Lastly, it sounds like you do need another keyboard, but do try the re-install first, as this might solve your problem. You can get information on how to re-install from either the internet, or from your documentation that would have come with your laptop. The other thing you can do, is call a computer person and ask them how to re-install windows. (Its easy as 1,2,3 but it does take time to explain, but if you want, i can tell you how to do this if you so request it).
Anyway, if you do need a new keyboard, then just google your make/ model of system name, and you should be able to source a supplier for new, used and second user components.
