Sound Problem - IBM T40 (by 3 users)

I have a new T40 with the Dock Station II and the speakers in the laptop
do not disable when I place the laptop in the docking station so that
the speakers attached to the station will play without the tinny
speakers on the laptop playing.  It was working fine before and then it
stopped and the only change that I made was I made a secure link on my
new wireless keyboard.  It was working prior to making the link secure
but I can't imagine that would be causing this issue.  It is a Logitech
wireless keyboard if that makes a difference.  I had to remove the
speaker mini-plug from the docking station and place it in the laptop
itself to disable the speakers.  This is a PITA to have to plug and
unplug the speaker plug from the laptop instead of just leaving it in
the docking station.
