SOURCE: Scanning to C352 server connect error

Check you smtp server settings in admin settings. Verify there correct. If your smtp server needs your email address and password to send, that should be populated as well under them smtp authentication settings.

How to scan documents to an email address

you should first right click on yoru destop and find "NEW" click on "make new folder", then type a name for the folder (anything you want). Now go to your scanner software and find the preferences and tell it to save scanned documents to your NEW folder. another option is to simply scan a document and when its done, click "file, save as" and save it to your new folder. When you are done scanning, open your email program and type in the email address to where you want to send the documents. when you are done typing the "subject" and a short note to whomever the mail is too, go to "insert" or "attachments" (varies depending on you email program). find the folder with your documents in it and hold down the "Cntrl"key and then click each file you wish to include. then click "ok" and all the files should now be attached to your email. BE AWARE, there may be a limit to how much data you can include in your email. If your email provider rejects your message due to file size being too large, simply send the files one at a time in multiple emails. There are also options out there (too numerous to list) that will allown you to send large files that are too big for your email program. I hope I haven't confused you. Good luck

Printer works fine. Tried to Scan to email and everything appears to be performing normally but the document does not show up in email. Tried multiple email addresses, tried to manually enter email...

I think you're doing it wrong, unless you have always done it this way.First you scan it.Then when you start an email, you have to attach it as a link/document.It is usually in a documents or download file. When you scan it,before you press to scan or while it is scanning, the box where you see what is going on usually tells you where it is being scanned to.It's kind of tough to explain.I believe you should be able to see it though using these comments. If you have any questions or need more help, just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.I really encourage responses so I can follow up properly as I know where you stand and asking someone else restarts all the explaining because we cannot see other 'Expert's' responses.Good luck,Greg

Scan to pc

Hi,
There's several ways to do this. I will tell you the easiest, (at least to explain).
1st- scan the document as usual, save it to your documents. ( to do this, look on your desktop for Canon Solutions- if not there it will be in your programs. This will open a box letting you scan from your scanner & save to your PC)
2nd- open an email, address it. Then click on the little icon at the top of your email that looks like a paper clip. This will open a box, just navigate to your documents & click once on the document that you want. This will put it in the email & you're ready to send. If you don't see a paper clip icon then click on 'insert'. This will do the same thing. If this helps plz rate this as 'fixya'. If you need more help leave a comment & I'll be happy to help. Thank you kindly.

How do you scan and email a document on the HP Deskjet F4200?

Hi,
Just open an email & address it as usuall, now, at the top of the email you will see an icon that looks like a peperclip, click on that, a box opens & you just navigate to the file using the browse button. When you click on the file it will show up in your email uner 'subject'. If you don't see a paperclip then look for the word 'insert', this will do the same thing. Good luck. If this helps you plz rate this 'fixya'. If you need further help leave a comment & I'll be happy to walk you through it. Thank you kindly.

Konica Minolta 250 Bizhub scanning Operations

You need to create a "one-touch"
This can be done in the Admin Screen without having to enter a code.
Better yet is to just yype the IP address into your browser and create them there.
The copier will need an email address in order to send them and you may need to log out and then back into the 250 as an "Admin".

Scanning several pages and saving as one document

Single scan printers can be difficult in this manner.\

Consider using the OCR (optical character recognition) software that came with your scanner.

Basically the part of the software that asks you what you are scanning (picture, document, newspaper) and make sure to select document. This will enable the character recognition which will convert the scanned picture into a document that you can configure to go into Microsoft Word or Notepad or whatever. If you have multiple pages, it MIGHT give you the option to scan more than one page at a sitting. then again, it may not. In which case you might be kicking yourself for not purchasing the scanner with the auto feed attachment! Once you have made your scanned document in your word processor - READ THROUGH IT! may have converted characters incorrectly - like an "S" may be now a "$" it happens - and it will happen. When done, attach complete document to email and BOOM done.

Either this or use a fax machine :)

hope i helped!
