Question about Radio Communications

Bluetooth Headset I bought a headset about a month ago. I "paired" it with my phone and it was no problem. I still had the documentation. Now, a month later, I dont know what the passcode is. My phone went in for a software upgrade... and everything has to be redone... My headset says "Perfect" on the front. I dont know if that is the make of the headset... and if I search for it, I get stupid results eg "get the perfect headset"... Please help, someone!

Most passcodes for bluetooth headsets are "0000" four zeros. I have had Jabra and Motorola and both of them have been the four zeros. Give it a try. Hope this helps. As for the procedure for getting the headset into the pairing mode that I am unable to help you.
Good Luck

To put your headset in paring mode, first turn it off. Then, press and hold the PWR/END button until the indicator led is solid lit (some 5 seconds). Now, make your phone's bluetooth software to search for devices. Select 'LG HBM-730' from the list. If a passkey (or PIN, or pairing code) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).

Motorola H170 headset problem

Try charging it for 24 hours, this should reset the headset. then completely delete the pairing and repair the device. If this doesn't work, there could be a problem with the mic portion of the headset.

It might be the pairing has drifted slightly. I would try repairing again. It certainly cant hurt anything.

Pairing Problem

It may be that the phone does not play music through bluetooth and that it only plays through the earphones that come with the phone. The only way to find out is to read the documentation on the phone or try another bluetooth headset, really. The headset cannot be faulty as it pairs correctly and it works with calls. Bluetooth headsets are not really intended for playing music as it drastically reduces battery life.
