Question about Cameras
Do you mean FX7? I understand that you've tried all usual tricks like resetting the camera to factory settings, setting the flash to "forced on" etc.
If so, then there's not a lot you can do apart from replacing the flash assembly. This is a fairly uncommon issue (out of some 100 lumix cameras I've played with I only saw 2 in which flash failed), so you should be able to find a nice donor camera on ebay which you could scavenge for the replacement flash assembly. Flash in FX7 is integrated with the top part of the camera (where power/shutter/zoom buttons are) - this is the bit you need. It's relatively easy to dismantle and put together.

Click on the right button of the arrow pulley block and change the icons of the flash until you see only a flash mark with our a crossed line on it
