SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am UPGRADING from vista to xp pro. All the drivers did not come with it - where can I find them? Thank you

You can find drivers on the manufacturers websites.
To discover the manufacturer of the device you can use the device manager in Windows.

1) Go to the Start Menu
2) right click on Computer
3) Click on Properties
4) Select Device Manager
5) All the devices you require drivers for will be marked - normally they give enough information for you to work out what the divice is.

Then go to the Manufacturer's website - you can find it through Google and download your drivers... install, reboot and you are good to go.

If this helped you then help me and vote kindly please.

Thank you

My vostro 1400 has an adapter drivers problems.

Question do you connect to the internet? If you do leave it alone if there are performance issues you will need to take this to a qualified technician to resolve.

Otherwise if you have internet conectivity the way it is you can right click on the device in the device manager and Update driver this should contact Update service at Microsoft and shuld there be a better driver it will let you know.

Empty window in device manager

Hi,
First troubleshooting step to check for the device manager in safe mode if still it is blank?
This behavior occurs if the Plug and Play service is turned off (disabled).
To resolve this behavior, set the startup type for Plug and Play to Automatic. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
  2. Double-click Plug and Play.

If you receive a Configuration Manager message, click OK.
  3. In the Startup Type list, click Automatic, and then click OK.
  4. Close Services.
  5. Restart the computer
Hope I was able to help you.

I had installed windowes XP but there is no sound

I suspect a driver didn't 'load' properly. First, right click on 'My Computer', go down to 'properties' and left-click. When Properties screen appears, click on 'Hardware' tab, then 'Device Manager' and look down the list and you will most likely see an exclaimation point next to 'Sound, Video and Game Controllers'. Right click on the appropriate device and choose 'Update Driver'. Follow the default instructions and re-boot your PC. If there was no exclaimation point, it could be a speaker problem .

H D Audio Driver fails to install

Have you checked to see if the driver is already installed, and the volume is just turned down? (Start> programs > accessories > entertainment > volume control) If so, try going into Device Manager (right click My Computer > properties > hardware > device manager) See if the sound card is showing up there as a yellow question mark or other error icon, it will stand right out. If it's there, right click, and uninstall it. Now (still in device manager) press the button that looks like a computer screen with a magnifying glass on it, that will scan for hardware changes and pick up the sound card, which windows includes the driver for automatically. If this still doesn't work, try downloading from realtek here, and installing that. Hope this helps.

right click on "my computer" icon on your desktop or on "start" bottom click "properties" click "Device Manager" double click "sound, video and game controller" from there you could find the name of your sound card then let me know so I could give you the right driver and how to install it. If you don't have "sound, video and game controller" in your device manager then look for "Other Devices" Double click on it right click on each "Unknown Device" Click "Properties" find "Reinstall" bottom and click follow the instruction to see if window can find the right driver from microsoft website.
