Mising sound After i formatted my acer with xp pro my sound driver install failed.but 1st time it was ok and another time it's failed again why?my driver for window vista

Download the device drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure youselect the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers youthat require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on yourlaptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -

You need to install the support programs for your laptop motherboard. These are also called your "laptop driver software" which is usually shipped or packaged with your laptop. In this CD or DVD Installer, all hardware devices must be well supported by their compatible software drivers.

Now look for the CD/DVD Installer and install the drivers.

I give you the solve. 1st format the OS drive. Then install the OS again, after that install Bitdefender Security. After installation of bitdefender restart the laptop and run for drivers installation. Remember first bitdifender then driver. Becouse Bitdiffender block all driver's for security.Hope you understand. Pease ask me if you want more help.Thanks.

simply visit Acer's website and search for the support drivers under product support and downloads. just choose the correct model of your laptop in the list they provided so that you will get the required drivers for downloading.

you frist uninstall the sound device and restart the pc.

Put *********** bord cd now automatically sound device will be installed.Restart the pc again check the sound

I'm afraid, you can't install XP home over XP Pro; it could be done the other way around. you'll have to  backup your important files then format your drive and restart from scratch.

if you have 2 partitionon in your HD e.g C: and D:
you can copy all your important files in the D:\ drive and just format and install XP home in the C:\ drive.
