Olympus FE 270 Digital camera lens, screen, etc not working

Hi!
Hi!
The focus is stuck. Could be sand, dirt or something in the focus gears - well known problem for these lens. Contact your local Olympus service center, but if they ask too much, you can contact me at toms.safranovs@gmail.com and I will give you a good price.

Access keeps popping up

I followed the suggestion of one of the others I tapped mine on the side and it worked, but I'm still going to send it in for repair.
With this many people with the same problem, the Sony people should be fixing them with out any hassle, obviously there is a design flaw with the camera

Access black screen problem

try this!

1.turn on the unit and switch it to play mode( by pressing the button next to th viewfinder.
2. press the menu button
3. select setup (the option with the toolbox icon)
4. inside setup look and select for setup 1(toolbox icon with a number 1 at the bottom)
5. then select initialize and select OK to every ptompt,
6. then it will pop up clock settings.

if this will not work then it would be better to hav the unit checkd and repaired by an authorized servicer. sony 1800-222-7669

Sony n2 camara problem

ok guys, I was getting the same "Access" black screen on my dcsn2. I would turn it on and the lens would pop in and out I would get the black screen with the "Access" on it. What worked for me was the following:

As the lens came out i grabbed and pulled while it was fully extended

The "Access" screen disappeared and my camera was back to normal.
hope this works for u guys! :-)

Screen shows only 'Access'

You have probably dropped the camera. If you are brave enough to open the camera up you can put the rollers back on track. Not a difficult problem to solve.
