Scrambled picture (by 4 users)
We bought this TV in appx. 2001. Over the past year when we turn it on the picture is very scrambled, to the point that you can't make out anything. After it warms up for a few minutes the picture clears and it works just fine. I'm curious is the problem is easily fixable or not worth the cost of repair.

I also have a toshiba 50h81 and takes a while to warm up and each day the picture is getting worse,,also i have a lightning show every now and then what causes this and how much can i get that fixed for??????Brian

i have the same problem looks like i am trying to view a blocked cable chanel on each channel, feel like ive tried everything called the company they said take it in for repair soounds to them like a tunning issue

Exactly the same thing is happening here :-( We plan to get a repairman in soon.
